It is issued by the Immigration Directorate General (DGIM) of the Ministry of Home Affairs. EU, EEA and Swiss nationals do not need a student visa and rely on a simple registration.

The process step by step

3. Arrival and residence permit. Arrival declaration at the commune within 3 days, medical check, then request for the student residence permit.
